Position: Mobile Case Management Program Manager

Department: Philadelphia Social Service Ministries, New Day Program,

Availability of Position: Immediate (1 position available)

Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday 9am- 5pm, some nights and weekends required                      

Reporting Relationship: Assistant Director  

Salary and Grade: 12 Exempt; $52,000-$54,000

*This position is contingent on grant funding*

Position Overview:    Mobile Case Management involves a unique, active collaboration between law enforcement, child welfare, and other social service providers. The Mobile Case Management Program Manager will supervise the Mobile Case Management Program ensuring program goals are being met. The Mobile Case Management Program Manager will supervise the victim advocates, and collaborate with local law enforcement, child welfare, and New Day’s Peer Services program.

Responsibilities

Description of Position: The Mobile Case Management Program Manager will work with the Victim Advocates, the Assistant Director of Anti-Trafficking and the Philadelphia Anti Trafficking Task Force, and youth diversionary court- WRAP court as an integral part of Mobile Case Management program.  The program manager will ensure that the case management wait list is maintained and will provide support to clients in the Mobile Case Management program. In addition, the Program Manager will provide trauma informed clinical supervision for case management to all clients and will work with the area service provider partners to ensure follow up and coordination of all immediate aftercare services.

Qualifications

Requirements:           

  • MSW degree with minimum three years’ experience working in human trafficking or a related field (e.g. domestic violence, immigrant rights, workers’ rights) in a role that involves service provision, training, and/or advocacy. 
  • Experience with trauma informed care preferably a working knowledge of Sanctuary Model for Trauma informed services. 
  • Must have an understanding of the issue of Domestic and Foreign Human Trafficking and prostitution. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel from site to site as may be needed in the performance of duties. 
  • Professional-level communications skills both verbal and written. 
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred 
  • As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. 
  • Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. 
  • Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
