Responsibility is to manage the annual Salvation Army Kettle effort, including, but not limited to, scheduling and transporting kettle workers to and from their locations, monitoring and picking up tabletop kettles on a regular basis, while coordinating effort with the Service Center Team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Secure kettle spots.
  • Picking up and dropping off kettle workers as needed.
  • Securing kettles at night.
  • Monitoring tabletop kettles at locations around the Carnegie Area.
  • Making bank deposits on a daily basis.
  • Assist corps officers as needed.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be a self-starter and work well independently.
  • Must be 21 years or older to operate Salvation Army 12-passenger van
  • Must be trustworthy and dependable.
  • Must relate and respond well to volunteers, other employees, and management.
  • All three PA Clearances required upon employment and thereafter upon renewal date:  PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Request for Criminal Record, and Fingerprint based federal criminal history.
  • PA Mandated and Permissive Reporting and The Salvation Army's KeepSAfe training required.
